Fulton Armory is once again pleased to offer the A.R.M.S. Scope Mount for the M14 and its civilian clones including the M1A.
The A.R.M.S. mount is made of 8620 steel, just like the M14 receiver. Consequently, it has the same thermal expansion coefficient as the receiver so as it heats up it won't try to loosen. There are two mounting points plus a contact point. The central screw engages the threaded hole in the M14 receiver. Two guide ribs on the inside face of the mount properly engage the alignment grooves in the receiver. A precision clip guide mount replaces the clip guide. Its Allen-screw interface with the mount proper allows exact alignment. Differences in receiver ring dimensions among the military M14 and its clones are allowed for by an adjustable forward tensioning pad. The A.R.M.S. M14 Scope Mount is quick and easy to install.
The smooth contours of the A.R.M.S. mount not only complement the lines of the receiver, they provide a snag-free surface. Brush, clothing and equipment will find nothing to "grab." You may mount directly to the Swan/Weaver rail with A.R.M.S. QD rings, the A.R.M.S. Aimpoint mount, or any STANAG 1913 or Weaver rings.
