Front Sight Mount for Lights or Lasers
—provides the ability to mount lights and lasers (actually, any cylindrical accessory) from 0.7 to 1.1 inches in diameter (18 to 28 mm) to the AR-15/M16/M4 front sight tower. This includes such popular flashlights as the TACM-III, Mini-MagLite®, PentagonLight®, Inova®, Streamlight®, Pelican®, Laser Devices®, and many SureFire® models. The mount is designed to fit around the standard bayonet lug. In fact, the bayonet lug adds strength to the flashlight holder assembly.

The mount is made from a glass-filled polymer that provides outstanding durability, impact resistance, scratch resistant, and light weight. It also withstands high temperatures, vibration, and most chemicals.

When the light or laser is mounted rearward (with the tailcap exposed), the sling swivel (with or without a sling attached) will activate the push-button switch of the flashlight. When the flashlight is mounted with the tatilcap recessed into the mount body, the push-button switch is protected from the sling swivel while the tailcap of the flashlight is still accessible through the skeleton hole in the mount body. The mount was designed around the standard HBAR and will work with any barrel that has a diameter of 0.75 inch (19mm) or less at the front sight base.

Use of this mount allows the attachment of a Tactical Flashlight. The 1" mount fits our TACM-III Tactical Lights as well as SureFire lights. The 25mm mount fits the Scorpion light. The mount may be positioned, and held firmly, on the rail by simply pressing the lock button and sliding the mount to the intended location and then releasing. No tools or gunsmithing are required and quick removal to allow installation of another rail mounted accessory is easily accomplished.
