The FAR-308 Stripped Lower Receiver is machined from a 7075 T6 Aluminum forging following the Gen 1 DPMS LR-308 Pattern for compatibility, yet incorporates upgrades that increase the reliability, strength, and ergonomics of the design. We use a bolt stop capture plate and screw which eliminates the troublesome blind hole and set screw design, the front pivot pin area and upper side area have reinforcement ribs to increase strength, and an extended trigger guard allows for winter or tactical shooting with gloves.
