Description

Built as a dedicated trainer for National Match and Service Rifle shooters, the Fulton Armory Dedicated .22 LR Service Rifle Upper provides the familiar handling and sight picture of an A2 Service Rifle with the lower ammunition cost and reduced recoil of .22 LR.

Unlike a basic drop-in conversion, this upper is built around a dedicated 20-inch Fulton Armory match-quality .22 LR barrel. The 416 stainless-steel barrel features a 1:16 twist and is paired with a purpose-built BoreBuddy .22 LR bolt carrier group and counterweight.

The BoreBuddy counterweight adds mass to the bolt assembly, helping smooth its operation and support reliable function with a broader selection of .22 LR ammunition, including heavier bullet weights.

A CMP/NRA-style steel float tube is concealed beneath the traditional 12-inch USGI A2 round handguard. This configuration preserves the appearance, feel, balance, and shooting position of a Service Rifle while allowing the barrel to remain free-floated for improved consistency and accuracy.

The upper also features an A2 receiver with a fixed carry handle and a windage-adjustable Fulton Armory Power Wedge front sight base, providing the traditional sighting arrangement National Match shooters expect.

Each upper includes one 10-round KRISS .22 LR magazine with a last-round bolt hold-open follower.
