Description

Unlike a standard drop-in rimfire conversion, the Fulton Armory Dedicated .22 LR Service Rifle Upper is built from the ground up for .22 LR. At its core is a 20-inch Fulton Armory match-quality barrel made from 416 stainless steel and cut with a 1:16 twist.

The upper uses a purpose-built BoreBuddy .22 LR bolt carrier group with a counterweight. By adding mass to the bolt assembly, the counterweight helps smooth operation and improves reliability across a wider selection of .22 LR ammunition, including heavier bullet weights.

To give Service Rifle shooters the familiar feel they expect, the barrel is surrounded by a CMP/NRA-style steel float tube concealed beneath a traditional USGI-style A2 round handguard. The finished upper retains the appearance, balance, and shooting position of a Service Rifle while allowing the barrel to remain free-floated for greater consistency and accuracy.

A 10-round KRISS .22 LR magazine is included. Its last-round bolt hold-open follower provides familiar feedback when the magazine is empty.

This upper is an excellent option for lower-cost practice, rimfire competition, or year-round training without using up your centerfire ammunition. It installs directly onto a standard Mil-Spec AR-15 lower receiver, giving you a dedicated .22 LR training platform without the compromises of a basic conversion kit.
